Happy New Year!

To Whom It May Concern:
I have sent two previous emails requesting that you recognize or list
ChatNet as an IRC client option for Mac users in addition to IRCLE as
supporting WAV sounds. We have a link to your site and have been
promoting it with our users of ChatNet v2.1 Beta 2. IRCLE is a fine
product but:
"ChatNet provides the simplest Macintosh interface to chat and send files
on the Internet or a Local Area Network. ChatNet acts as a client program
providing a button oriented graphical interface for all IRC functions.
There is no need to know any IRC commands."
I would appreciate some acknowledgement on your part of the existence of
our product which for beginners is the very best available for the Mac.
Please check the link below for a review of ChatNet by MacUser and see
why we earned a four (4) mice rating.

If you have any questions or problems with this request please have the
courtesy to respond to my email. You might want to visit the ELS, Inc.
web site and check out ChatNet first hand. I would be happy to provide
you a free registration if you will post a reference for ChatNet at Doc's
Chat Sounds: http://www.nwlaser.com/wavs/

My reply went like this:
Sir,
I don't claim to offer every chat client available for the Mac on my website.
If you would even bother reading the text beneath the Ircle link, you would
see that it says "The best IRC client for the Mac". Which it is. Yours, which
I have tried, doesn't even come close. Note that Global Chat and Homer are
"overlooked" also.
Enough now.
Doc
This fucking idiot is somehow under the delusion that I give a living fuck about his little program, and that I have some sort of duty to promote his trash. Read on:
IRCLE may be the best for experienced IRC users but ChatNet is the
easiest. Not all IRCers are experts and ChatNet provides their best
alternative to IRCLE which requires they know IRC commands. Did you even
bother to read the review of MacUser?

What version of ChatNet did you ever try? Have you actually tried ChatNet
v2.1 Beta 2 and evaluated it on its own merits and not just as a
comparison to IRCLE which is as I have said designed for advanced users.
It might be nice to have an open mind and promote multiple products. I am
promoting you and your site.
Regards from a non prejudiced Mac IRC user.
Mitchell Martin
I replied just before putting him on my mail filter.
Please see the website at http://www.amishrakefight.org/gfy. It's perfect for someone like yourself.
Well, I DID say "enough", didn't I?
